They're going to make a film of my life, and I have to provide the music.
Here's how it works...
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) 2. Put it on shuffle 3. Press play 4. For every question, type the song that's playing 5.When you go to a new question, press the next button 6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool... just type it in. It's oddly satisfying when you get a good match purely at random. The categories are (in chronological order)
Opening Credits, Birth, Waking Up, First Day At School, Falling In Love, Losing Virginity, Fight Song, Prom, Last Day of School, First Day at Work, Beginning of Adult Life, Mental Breakdown, Obligatory Flashback, Getting Back Together, Wedding, Birth of Child, Final Battle, Death Scene, Funeral Song, End Credits.
So here goes nothing...

Some of it seems almost apt.

Great fight song there, anonymous. But I'm not sure your death scene should be so protracted.
anonymous here, obviously my list was so good I copied it twice and avoided any comments or name, hopefully I now have a nameand can comment on my personal highlight, stepping out to The Tiny Goat at my prom
Just done this over at my place. I changed it slightly though... still took the first 20 tracks that came out at random, but assigned them to the most appropriate scene rather than chronologically. Requires a bit more time and thought, but more satisfying I think.
@ Anonymous John
Your list was clearly only half as good as mine, so posting it twice was necessary just to get it up to standard.
@Jim. I posted my list back the the guy that passed it on to me in the first place. His comment was "Oh, you did it random then?"
I thought that was the whole point. Where a song meets an occasion with applicability, we smile at fate. I'm sure I could find appropriate songs for all the segments if I spent a few minutes looking.
Will go take a peek over at the quiet road now. I'm sure it will be fantastic after I've had a commiseratory bong.
