New Website!

I've redone my business website. I felt the old, frame based one was a bit naff, and I found a dreamweaver disk that had some CSS templates that I thought looked quite nice.

My wife thought it all looked horribly bland and generic though, so I based it on a nice picture that I was using on my business cards instead. I cut right down on the windy verbiage too. Gone are the superfluous self promotions. Now I give the facts! Straight!

how to fail your test...

One of my pupils failed their driving test the other day.

Damn shame, frankly, because she only got 3 minor faults. Unfortunately she kept in the left hand lane to go straight ahead at a mini roundabout. (from the right in the picture below)

Usually this is the correct way of doing it, but on this occasion, there were arrows painted on the road, meaning that the left lane was for turning left only.
